Prayer

By the sea I will wait,
with a silent prayer on my lips.
And frozen tears in my eyes.

By the sea I will wait
from dawn to dusk
and again.

By the sea I will wait
hoping to see you again,
hoping to live again.

This is where the creative juices of the inner self flows out loose. The pain one undergoes when he/she has something inside them to write about, is unexplainable- like the pain the mother undergoes while she is giving birth to her child. And like in pregnancy, once it is all written and said, then the writer undergoes a something like postpartum depression, because suddenly, all that weight that he/she has been carrying around, is all gone and there is a void inside. But like motherhood, ever time one reads their work of art, they feel happy and contend. To see it grow in front of her own eyes and become capable of the self. The writer also feels that what a father feels towards his child, pride. This is where the silences of every word is born, and where these silences makes sense!
